Who We Are...
The Medical Speech-Language Pathology Council of California is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide affordable, relevant continuing education courses to medical speech-language pathologists.
Originally established in 1989 as the Southern California Directors Council, which was comprised of management professionals in speech pathology. The council evolved into an organization to support the expansion and preservation of our profession and we became the Southern California Medical Speech Pathology Council.
We have been made up of professionals in the field of speech pathology in Southern California with a special emphasis is on the medical setting. As we have continued to change and grow, we have received feedback that the council would benefit speech pathologists throughout the state of California.
As the council grew and progressed, we became the Medical Speech Pathology Council of California (MSCC).
The California Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CSHA) recognizes MSCC as a Special Interest Group (SIG).
Our sponsors partner with us to provide financial assistance allowing us to achieve our mission of providing high quality, relevant, affordable continuing education courses to our members.
Membership Fees - $75 for Speech-Language Pathologists and Assistants; $15 for Students
Membership fees include all half day conferences. Additional fees collected for our full day conferences. See conference section for details and dates. Conferences are intended for more res only.
